Underground in Delhi (Italian: I sotterranei di Delhi) is the eighteenth episode of the second season (The Tiger Roars Again) and the forty-fourth overall episode of the animated series, Sandokan.

Plot

The streets of Delhi are teaming with British soldiers. Sandokan and his company have reached the palace of Amina’s father, who is worried about his daughter’s fate. Sandokan is unaware, but he is under the constant eye of one of Nazima’s emissaries, ready to ambush him. On top of that, the dark agent has an even worse surprise in store for Tremal-Naik.

While Sandokan and Yanez are tied up with their assailants, one of Nazima’s henchmen kidnaps the tiger cub-son of Dharma, but not before getting Sir Moreland to believe that the thugs’ leader is whoever will try recover the kidnapped tiger cub. Sandokan and Yanez find a secret passage that takes them to Nazima’s hideout. They are then able to free Amina, but they must now consider the fate of poor Tremal-Naik, held prisoner in the English garrison.
