The Thugs Lose Out (Italian: La disfatta dei Thugs) is the nineteenth episode of the second season (The Tiger Roars Again) and the forty-fifth overall episode of the animated series, Sandokan.

Plot

Sandokan goes before Sir Moreland to stand up for the cause of his imprisoned friend. Yet Sir Moreland doesn’t believe his word, for which he must escape after having led him to the thugs’ hideout, by then deserted. While erasing his trail, he runs into Dharma and then dawns the uniform of an English soldier, preparing to infiltrate the English garrison in order to free Tremal-Naik. He succeeds with little difficulty, owing to Yanez’s usual assistance.

But our heroes wont’ stop until they’ve flushed out Nazima. They slip into the witch’s lair, and could have been captured by her if only Sir Moreland hadn’t followed them. However, in so doing, they are able to both prove their innocence to him, as well as capture Nazima. Our friends celebrate a victory hosted by Moreland himself. And to everyone’s surprise, Ada discovers that she is in fact his daughter, kidnapped years ago by the same thugs.
