The Queen is one of the supporting characters of The Story of Cinderella. She is married to the King, with whom she has a son named Charles.
Appearance[]
She is a beautiful woman with brown hair neatly kept in an up do style. She usually is seen wearing red lipstick and the royal tiara holding the emerald crystal. She is seen wearing a red dress with orange bows and a large white collar, and white gloves that reach her elbows.
Personality[]
The Queen is very kind and sweet although somewhat naive and unaware of some of her son's antics. She takes her role as queen seriously and hopes to get her son to understand his role as prince and heir to the throne of Emerald Kingdom. She does seem rather nosy when it comes to Charles' love life as she and her husband put together numerous events in hopes Charles will find a good woman to marry and appears unhappy when he has not chosen one by the end of said event.
As befitting her title and role as queen, she is very poised, soft spoken, and well mannered. She tries to make sure that a girl of a good and noble family is the correct choice for Charles but at the same time acknowledges he wishes to marry someone he loves.
Plot[]
Throughout majority of the series, she is somewhat of a background/minor character as she usually does not have a large role to fulfill. She is mostly seen siding with her husband in getting Charles to become a proper prince and choose a woman to be his bride. Late in the series, she was fearful for the lives of her family and the kingdom when Duke Zarel revealed himself to be a traitor and claimed to have ended Charles' life. However, Charles was soon revealed to be alive and re-claimed the kingdom, much to her relief.
Afterwards, she joined in the ball to celebrate Charles saving the kingdom and saw that he took interest in a disguised Cinderella. When Cinderella was discovered to be the woman Charles fell in love with, the queen and her husband welcomed her with open arms. After Duke Zarel was defeated for good, she and her husband crowned Charles and Cinderella as the new rulers of Emerald Kingdom and officially retired.
Relationships[]
- The King: Her husband and king of Emerald Kingdom. She is a devoted and supportive wife to him, often agreeing with many of his statements and discoveries. She is rarely seen apart from him.
- Charles: Her only son and child. The queen is a very loving mother toward Charles but appears to not have been very strict with him about certain matters until more recent years since he did not start becoming more serious about his role until after meeting Cinderella. She is seen to often be concerned about Charles finding a girl to be his bride and was thrilled when he announced Cinderella as the one he wanted to marry.
