The Pact

The Pact (Italian: Il patto) is the twenty-third episode of the first season (The Tiger of Malaysia) of the animated series, Sandokan.

Plot[]

After the dam blows up, Lady Carradine decides to return to Labuan to find out what happened. Brooke is not happy about her impending visit, and so hires Litang to attack her schooner to make it look as though it were Sandokan’s work. The treacherous plot succeeds; Guillonk himself sees a “prau” with a Tiger on the hull that attacks the English schooner.

However, as Sandokan and the Tigers return from a fishing expedition, they run into the fake prau and so Litang and his men are unmasked and confess. Lady Carradine must be told the truth immediately.... Our heroes abduct her from the palace at Labuan and take her to Mompracen, where they tell her the whole story of Kiltar, the truth about the diamond mine, and the fake accounting ledgers.

Back in Labuan, Lady Carradine forces Brooke to sign an agreement in which he promises to take no action against Sandokan. Lady Carradine leaves, taking the false accounts with her to show the Queen.
