The Kidnapping (Italian: Il rapimento) is the sixth episode of the first season (The Tiger of Malaysia) of the animated series, Sandokan.

Plot

In Mompracem, Sandokan is making his parang, a sword with a tiger on its hilt. In Labuan, Brooke wants to marry off Marianna with Guillonk. Sandokan draws up a keen plan to return to Labuan and carry off Marianne. Yanez pretends to betray his friend, and offers to turn him over to Brooke in exchange for money. Brooke falls for the ruse, and Yanez wins the Governor’s confidence, who then leads him and his men away from the palace in order to leave the coast clear for Sandokan to escape with Marianne. The plan succeeds, but Yanez has little time to flee before Brooke realizes he has been tricked. Sandokan and his Tigers return to free Yanez, and Brooke is beaten in a fair fight, but Sandokan spares him his life.
