The Haunted Ruins (Japanese: 呪われた遺跡, Norowa reta iseki) is the twenty-eighth episode of the Japanese animated/anime series, The Legend of Zorro and was originally broadcasted on October 25, 1996 in Japan.

Synopsis[]

A mysterious girl and her grandfather appear out of the ruins of an primeval civilization, announce that they are the descendents of an ancient race, and tell the people of San Tasco that there is a treasure hidden in the ruins. Immediately, the news interests the Army. The girl and her grandfather are put in prison, and the soldiers start looking for the treasure. Zorro frees the prisoners, and discovers that the girl’s story is partly true.
