The Great Art Swindle (Japanese: モナリザは泣いている, Mona Riza wa nai teiru) is the twenty-ninth episode of the Japanese animated/anime series, The Legend of Zorro and was originally broadcasted on November 15, 1996 in Japan.

Synopsis

The management of the Indies Trading Company forces an old painter to pay off his debts by painting copies of old masters that are then put up for sale. When the painter tries to leave town, the Company men take him prisoner with his granddaughter in order to make sure he will not try to escape again. Zorro exposes the fraud, and the fake art dealer is arrested.
