The Attack of Rajmangal (Italian: Assalto a Rajmangal) is the eleventh episode of the first season (The Tiger of Malaysia) of the animated series, Sandokan.
Plot[]
Our friends have discovered the hideout of the Thugs: a pagoda on the island of Rajmangal in the Ganges. They set off to free Ada anon. They enter the pagoda, but in their search for Ada, they lose Kammamuri who falls into an underground passage. Kammamuri finds Ada and tells her that Tremal-Naik has come to rescue her, but Suyodhana then discovers Kammamuri, hypnotizes the boy, and convinces him to take the Thugs to Sandokan’s camp.
However, Kammamuri is not completely hypnotized, and while he makes his way through the jungle, followed by the Thugs, and, at a distance, also by Dharma, he breaks off pieces of tree bark, etches signs on them, and drops them on the ground. Dharma then gathers up the bark, and then takes it to our friends who abandon the camp in the nick of time.
The drawings on the bark lead them to a secret passage in the roots of a banyan tree, through which they enter a labyrinth of underground passages and are able to free Ada and Kammamuri. After a fierce battle, they then blow up the sect’s underground hideout, convinced that they have eliminated the terrible Suyodhana along with his temple.
