Tentacles is an octopus who is a friend to Elizabeth and the tritagonist of the 1999 animated film, The Legend of the Titanic and its sequel, In Search of the Titanic. He was voiced in Italian by Oliviero Dinelli.
Powers and Abilities[]
Tentacles is strong enough to throw icebergs and even move the Titanic. However, in the sequel, In Search of the Titanic, he was unable to lift a bathysphere that was probably wedged into the ocean floor.

The Legend of the Titanic[]
He gets tricked by Mr. Ice Teeth and his gang of sharks into an iceberg throwing contest to see who can throw icebergs the farthest so that way Tentacles would throw an iceberg at the surface of the ocean so the Titanic would hit the iceberg so it will sink. Tentacles' friend Orci tries to stop him, but his warning is neglected and the Titanic starts to sink.
When Tentacles finds out the truth why Mr. Ice wanted him to challenge him in throwing icebergs which was so that way the Titanic will sink he becomes upset of what he's done. Later on when the Titanic begins to break it in two halves, he wraps himself around the ship, keeping it together with his tentacles. Because of that, everyone, including Captain Edward J. Smith, is been able to get off the ship to safety. Once everyone on the ship has been saved, the Titanic finally sinks, taking Tentacles with it and seemingly killing him, as he was still heroically holding on to it upside down.
In the end of the film, he is revealed to be alive and gets thanked by all the people and the crew of the former, but sunken ship, Titanic and he became a true hero.

- In Search of the Titanic reveals he’s 7 years old and this was alluded to in Legend of the Titanic when he states that he’s “just a child”.
