Prisoners of the Pirates (Italian: Prigionieri dei pirati) is the sixteenth episode of the first season (The Tiger of Malaysia) of the animated series, Sandokan.
Plot[]
Sandokan flees toward Mompracem on a ship stolen from Sapagar, and decides to outwit Brooke by sailing into the eye of a cyclone. His plan succeeds, but our heroes are shipwrecked, and find themselves clinging to a floating wooden plank on the high seas.
Sandokan and his companions are then “rescued” by an old foe, none other than Typhoon Fletcher, who takes them prisoners: Sandokan and Yanez are thrown back into the sea to feed the sharks, while Marianne and Kammamuri are kept on board to be sold at the Balabak slave market.
In the meantime, Sambliong and the Tigers aboard the prau sail in the wake of the pirate ship. In Balabak, Marianne and Kammamuri are sold to the Sultan. Sandokan and Yanez get there too late for the auction, but they manage to find Typhoon and make him reveal where Marianne and the boy are being held.
