Pepita (Japanese: 嘘つき少女ペピータ, Usotsuki shōjo Pepīta) is the twenty-sixth episode of the Japanese animated/anime series, The Legend of Zorro and was originally broadcasted on October 11, 1996 in Japan.

Synopsis[]

Pepita, a little girl with a lively imagination, is accused by the other children of being a liar. By chance, she overhears the men of the Indies Trading Company planning to seize control of the local mines by pretending to be interested in trading and international cultural exchanges – a pretence backed up by the Army. Nobody believes Pepita except Bernard and Diego, who manage to round up the gang leader's accomplices.
