Man's Best Friend (Japanese: 迷犬フィガロの初手柄, Meiken Figaro no shote gara) is the twelfth episode of the Japanese animated/anime series, The Legend of Zorro and was originally broadcasted on July 5, 1996 in Japan.

Synopsis

Bernard finds a very affectionate stray puppy, and wants to take it home although he knows Maria will not allow it in the house. Backed up by Diego and Lolita, he tries to convince the housekeeper to change her mind. In the end, she has no choice, because thanks to Figaro (the puppy) they manage to unmask a thief who has taken the place of a Countess in order to steal her jewels.
