Light (Luce in Italian) is the only one daughter of Simba, the princess, has the gift of clairvoyance.

Introduction[]

Light is first introduced as Luce in Episode 48 of the English Dub of Simba The King Lion. She is first shown to be a timid cub who was afraid of Shannon when they first visited her.

In Episode 51 Light is given the powers of clairvoyance by her Great Aunt Shannon. Almost immediately she sees a vision of the future that others are not able to see.

Simba Jr. to The World Cup[]

Light becomes a much more prominent character in the second series, in which, in many ways, she is given more focus and development than even her brother, Simba Jr, despite the fact that she never joins the Africa 1 team, and is completely absent from episodes 16 through 21.

Light is shown to be flirtatious, cuddling with Catsper within seconds of meeting him for the first time, being the only one of Simba Jr.'s party to reach out and say hello to M.J. Fox the first time he crossed their path, and shown to be traveling with a entourage of boys in Episode 22 before The Canary shoos them away. She is clearly not shy around boys and purposely courts their attention, including and especially Fox. In fact she is the one who typically initiates and encourages such attention.

Light is also shown to be a bit of a drama queen. This is first seen when she gets upset at Hypno doubting the existence of Catsper saying "If you don't trust Catsper then you don't trust me!".

She later on makes a big scene at the bar, getting drunk after becoming extremely jealous at M.J. Fox flirting with Stella. She calls Fox out on drinking and partying the night before an important game, a scolding that seems to have caused a genuine change of heart on M.J.'s part.

During The Afterparty of the World Tournament Light clunks M.J. on the head with a bottle of Cognac knocking him unconscious after seeing him making out with Estelle.

Lastly she scolds her own mother after she disapproves of her interest in a dog, going so far as saying she is surprised to see her own family "spouting racism".

She also is known to break out into tears frequently, over her missing parents as well as Winner, something the other cubs do not generally do.

Winner and The Golden Child[]

In the last episode of Simba Jr., Light receives a vision which makes her aware of another world, and that the fates of this world and her own are intertwined and bound to a collision course in the near future. This leads to the events of Winner and The Golden Child.
