Lady Chrystal (also known as Queen Chrystal aka The Wicked Queen/The Evil Queen) is one of the main antagonists of the Japanese animated series, The Legend of Snow White. She lived with her husband, the gentle King, and her stepdaughter, Snow White.
Background[]
Chrystal was Snow White's evil stepmother, the second wife of King Conrad, and she also the new Queen of Green Valley. After Snow White's late mother, Queen Rosebud passed away, Conrad remarried her so that Snow White will have a mother. But when he leaves for war, she began to treated her stepdaughter like a servant.
Roles in the series[]
She was very beautiful woman, but she was vain. After King Conrad marries her, she possessed a magic mirror which she asks who is the fairest of them all. When it says it's her, she was happy.
While her husband leaves for war, she seized the throne for herself. She still holds a grudge against Snow White for being the fairest of them all.
Trivia[]
In the Italian dub, her name was never brought up throughout the show, as she was simply reffered to as "The Wicked Queen".
