Gonzales in Love

Gonzales in Love (Japanese: 初恋しました！ゴンザレス, Hatsukoi shimashita! Gonzaresu) is the thirtieth episode of the Japanese animated/anime series, The Legend of Zorro and was originally broadcasted on November 22, 1996 in Japan.

Synopsis[]

Sergeant Gonzales saves a beautiful girl, Stella, from two rogues who turn out to be debt collectors for Paco, the moneylender, who wants to get his hands on her valuable ring. The girl has fallen into the loan shark’s clutches to save Moreno, her fiancé, whom she now believes to be dead.

Gonzales' passionate love for Stella is unrequited because of the girl’s deep hatred for all soldiers. Zorro comes to the rescue, and Paco is forced to leave town. Stella discovers that Moreno is still alive and departs with him for England leaving poor Gonzales with nobody to console him.
