Devil's Island

Devil's Island (Italian: L'isola del diavolo) is the twenty-first episode of the second season (The Tiger Roars Again) and the forty-seventh overall episode of the animated series, Sandokan.

Plot[]

Dressed as prisoners, Sandokan and Yanez reach Devil’s Island. They must figure out where Marianne is held prisoner as soon as they can. Nazima was set to kill her, and without the White Rajah’s opposition, she would have already carried out her wish. Thus, Marianne finds herself confined to one of the palace chambers. Meanwhile, Sandokan and Yanez find themselves subjected to training in which they must learn the use of weapons. Yanez pretends to be incapacitated in such a way so as to be sent to work in th kitchen.

Indeed, this is clearly a setup that will allow Sandokan to slip inside the palace to free Marianne. The two lovers soon reunite, and things get better until Nazima’s stone panther intervenes. Fortunately, Marianne is able to escape and save herself from the bombardment the White Rajah orders that sinks the boat set to take to the open sea with her on board. Yet Sandokan and Yanez remain in their enemy’s clutches.
