A Prelude to the Collapse (Japanese: レイモン・崩壊への序曲, Reimon : hōkai heno jokyoku) is the fifty-first episode of the Japanese animated/anime series, The Legend of Zorro and was originally broadcasted on March 21, 1997 in Japan.
Synopsis[]
A deadly, scary, merciless and sinisterly deathly man called Death is sent from the headquarters of the Trading Company to keep an eye on Kapital's operations. Kapital has always kept a secret set of accounts in which is recorded the proof that he has illegally financed Raymond's rise to power. Death acquires possession of the accounts ledger and, in the end, leaves town taking Kapital with him.

- This is one of the few episodes to feature graphic blood in the series which it was shown on the ground with the grass and also which Bernard got it on his glove.
